In your other thread (BTW you only need one) you said you had a "head gasket problem". This could be as simple as replacing the gasket, but you could also need machining it you warped the head. In order to do any of this, you would need to drain the oil and coolant, so any cross-contamination would be taken care of and you wouldn't need to "check" for it. But the fact that you're asking questions like this, you're not qualified/skilled to do this job. Take it to a shop and let someone do it right.
I didn't mean to offend you. I was just being honest. From experience, the worst thing in the world is to spend the time and money to fix something, then it doesn't work or breaks because you didn't have a handle on what you were doing.
