I remember reading in one of stephen hawkings books that he talked aobut the water mirage you see on a hot road. he discussed how the reflection of the sky you see might really just be the sky. like for the light from the sky to get to your eye, teh heat from the road actually provided a path of least resistance or something like that. therefore you werent seeing a reflection, but actually seeing the sky, but not in the right place.

just thought that might have something to do with changing the direction of the light

It might have something to do with changing the direction of the light, but it has nothing to do with gravity's effects on light. :p :lol:

Oh come on. They're not really THAT expensive. No more than a good CF hood (bonnet). Easy to install, too, if you have any skills with a sawzall and epoxy. Plus it would look really sexah with the hood and that color paint. I say do it. Sell the wing to some ricer and there's half the cost of your boot lid. :thumbsup:
 
They are available on Ebay, but if you're a little shy to the reliability of the World's Biggest Garage Sale, try google searching.
