I usually pull one of my scores yearly from myfico.com. They run $15. How that compares to a bank score I'm not sure.

why do you pay for this?

the gov't gives you 1 free lookup a year.

With what tab said make sure you don't start applying before you are ready. I was told by a mortgage lender that if inquiries are done within a period of a month of so they understand that people rate shop. While house hunting do not open any new lines of credit and do not start car shopping etc. They will look at the kind of inquiries you are making. Ask the lender questions as to what can help you.
