how to tell if ecu works and getting power

my 88 rex died and i think is something with the ecu how do you tell if it is good and if it is getting power .the l ight doesnt come on and wich wires should have power?

it cranks fine but no spark

ecu should be alright if it cranks. check coil, cap, rotor,igniter.

ALL THOSE THINGS ARE NEW BUT STILL NO SPARK
