Some of you asked, some of you didn't. Here's our rust bucket stripped.
So much work to be done, I'm trying not to get discouraged. We got somewhat lucky in that the rust is only on the rear half of the car rather than the whole car. Soon the quarter repair panels will come and will be welded on. I can't wait! Hopefully today we can take the engine out. Progress though. It won't be ready by Sept, so we might have to attend the Babler meet without him.
The front:
Passenger side rust panel:
Passenger side rust panel, rust cut out:
Driver side rust panel:
The d15b6, extra wires are the front light harnesses pulled through:
Spare tire well:
The rear:
Hatch struts are good:
Gotta have a pile of removed parts:
The lame APC seat and more rust, at least the interior is intact, just dirty:
The primer was just to get rid of bare metal until I get back today and do some more. The car sat in a field for about 2 1/2 years prior to the purchase.
