Losing Power In Vtec

I have a similar problem while we're already on the topic..... I had done a sohc vtec swap into my crx and the vtec doesn't seem to do much. I didn't do an obd conversion, it is wired up to an rpm switch. And..... i don't have a oil pressure switch on the vtec solenoid. when the vtec kicks on, the engine changes tone to deeper and a little louder, but doesn't seem to do anything.
I will try changing the cat, but could it be the oil pressure switch?

My baby is back 100%! Thanks for all the replies, and a big thank you to B16 and Delscho of hondavision for correctly diagnosing the problem! The cat was completely stuffed, and now it's completely gutted lol... It sound a little loud now...But beware of catco converters, they are very cheap and unreliable...

haha, np, good to hear you got it figured out... i ended up gutting out mine also
