i'm putting an LS into my 91 hatch
will performance suffer if i use the civic ecm and convert it to pgm-fi?

i noticed the ecm plugs are not the same, so do i have to use the civic ecm?

Just use a 90-91 Integra ECU. Yes performance wil suffer 1. Becuase,THe civic isnt MPFI, 2. The ECU isnt designed to run a DOHC engine.

If you are looking for an ECU (or ECM as you call it), Ill let it go for $35 shipped. Thats probably the cheapest you'll find that ECU, so, let me know. Good luck with your swap.

88-91 is OBD-0
92-95 is OBD-1
96-98 is OBD-2
99-? is OBD-2B

so a 92 ecu is obd-1
a 90-91 ecu is obd-0
if your car is a 92 you can get a obd-1 PR4 I belive, which will run a DOHC LS engine(which didnt come DPFI- it is the civic hatch everyone has)
if your car is 88-91 you can get a obd-0 PR4 from a 90-91 integra and convert to MPFI.
