been using the UMP with silencer a lot

The UMP is a pretty good gun. It was absolutely beastly in MW2. Seems like they toned it down a bit, but still good. I think I prefer the MP5 myself though...

seems like the maps almost encourage camping because it seems pretty difficult to spot people when you're more on the move

Yeah, I noticed that too. All the debris and stuff in the environments is very distracting sometimes. I hate it though, because I hate camping. It's just so boring to me. Seems like the spawns are pretty shitty right now too. Sometimes I die and then spawn and get killed again right away. Hopefully they work on fixing that a little bit...

its not that they're small.. most are rather big.. its just they're really closed in, no open areas for sniping really

Probably have a couple 12 pack Dew codes later, first to PM gets em when I get home

woop woop
its my lucky day.
when do the codes run out? i have one off a 20oz bottle at home to use also.

i also have my one prestige token to burn up.
i don't know if i want the 2 hours of double xp, or if i should unlock a gun, i'm holding off on using it until i see all the guns and figure out what i like the best.

not such a fan of the perk system on MW3, it seems you need blind eye pro and assassin pro, plus the silencer to keep off the maps. so you lose out on quickdraw and sleight of hand

does anyone know if the pro perks just keep getting faster as you reach pro II or pro III?

Not till the end of December I believe...

I would probably just go with the 2 hours of double xp. Like you said, you can mess around with the guns on your first run up to 80 and then decide on one to unlock if you want to prestige...

I noticed that too. At first I was annoyed by it, but I think it's actually for the better. It's more balanced. In Black Ops you could do Sleight of Hand, Lightweight, and Marathon for a run n' gun class, or you could just swap Lightweight for Ghost and have a class that's still highly mobile yet now invisible to radar, and that's what a lot of people did.

With this though, you have to give stuff up in order to get other stuff. Want to be completely invisible? You can do it with Blind Eye, Assasin, and Ninja, but you give up any option to move quickly/shoot quickly/etc.

I find that Sleight of Hand, Quickdraw, and Stalker works pretty good for assault rifles. And for SMGs I've been doing Sleight of Hand, Quickdraw, and Steady Aim, especially if you use akimbo machine pistols for a secondary...

I don't think so, I think the additional challenges are just for more XP...

i've said it before, and i'll say it again.. i hate being seen on maps.. so blind eye pro, assassin pro all the time, plus a silencer..

I usually set up a rushing class for whatever gun I'm working on with stuff like sleight of hand, quickdraw, stalker, extreme conditioning, steady aim, etc., and then also make a "stealth version" of that class with blind eye/assasin/dead silence with the same gun (silenced of course) to use if I want to stay off radar or if there's air support up. And I usually do a launcher for secondary on the stealth version so I can knock down choppers with it too.

I usually pick 2 or 3 different guns to work on every prestige so I can get the titles and emblems for them, so doing it that way works well for me. Either way, I'm still racking up kills on the same gun...

i usually have a version set up for being completely off the map, and then i'll have one with a red dot sight or acog for when my reflexes are a little slower and need help aiming

the assassin pro, with no name tags seems to be very useful, since its a lot harder to identify targets in this one

:werd: .. i've gotten headshots from across the map because of the red name.. scanning across the market on one of the maps and name lit up so i lit him up.. lol

Have you guys tried the thermal scope yet? I never used it much in previous games, but I'm finding it pretty useful in this one. Went something like 25 and 5 on village the other with a thermal scope AK-47. Just pop up the scope, and scan. Easy kills. I like how you can hold your breath with it now too, on any gun, not just sniper rifles...

I'm pretty sure you could hold your breath with it on any assault rifle in MW2 as well...

my buddy just told me this.. lol

"If you go to a gas station, you can take a picture of the back of the Doritos $0.99 bags to get the Double XP points code"

Akimbo FMG9s, extreme conditioning, and steady aim. Do it motherfuckers. You'll love it!
