so some of you guys have been following my thread about looking for a new car. well as some of you know i got one. its a Subaru WRX and its exactly what i wanted. AWD, good hp/trq (265/244) and being a 5-door/hatch looks great as is really nice for carrying friends and/or other things in the back. tons of room.

Dealer Options:
SPT catback exhaust stainless
Media Hub (for hooking up an ipod/iphone or other flash drives/mp3 players)
Under dash red lighting
All weather floormats

i honestly dont give a shit about the dash lighting, but it looks nice i guess, all the other lights on the dash are red and the stiching on the seats is red so i guess it all matches. the only thing that sucks is that it came with some dunlop ultra performance tires, lol. the awd makes it OK in the snow but the tires are really holding me back with snow driving so im taking it easy. no way am i going to buy new tires for it just yet. i would like to get another set of stock rims and throw on some GOOD snow tires for next season though. and just swap them back and forth when needed.

now for some pics :)

im going to keep it stock for a while. its my daily driver now. really the only thing im interested in doing is maybe smoking out the tail lights (not feeling the altezza look) maybe a tint, and maybe a modest drop, like 1".

enjoy :) i am

i dont mind the badges, but i will take off the stupid car dealer license plate frames. not sure how i feel about the fogs. i mean the holes are really small, and i cant see even the OEM fogs being more than just for looks.

edit: oh and a sport grill. they are like 300 from the dealer though. ill have to see what else is available

Plain red taillights possible?

Nice car!

ive seen people paint their tail lights red, but they arent available from the dealer/subaru with red tails on the hatch. they do have red lights on the 4-door sedan though.

the smoked look looks good on a silver car though. see here:

here is a pic of someone who did red tails:

That's one fast lawn mower!!! Gotta make fun of the sound.....its faster then my hatch so I gotta be an ass! j/k Nice car. I like the silver one you posted with the dual exhaust.....clean and aggressive.

red's look awesome man.

And get the sport grill, looks freaking sex.

And spt/sti shifter. Freaking night and day.

Only reason I say, my step bro has an 08 with the same spt exhaust and stuff.

They are both stis so that's why they look a little more agressive. They have wider fenders.

nice.. i've been wanting one of those for a while now.. and yes, reds fTW

Lol i've seen vids of open downpipe on these and they are stupid loud. I actually like the sound of the exhaust. It's got a nice low throaty sound but not obnoxiously loud like open header

pussy, just be like me, wear ear plugs when you drive =)

Hot. I wasnt sold on the hatch at first but they've really grown on me. And the sport grille is definetly sexy. Get it!

summer tires + winter = death

awd or not, you will still slide into the assbag in front of you. be careful/stay home

werd, i went out when there like 2" down which was fine, just a little slippery, then again with about 8-10" down and i could barely get up and down my street. it was a balance of having traction control on or off and peeling the wheels. i never felt like i would get stuck, but it wasnt fun or easy at all. not doing that again lol. theres like 2' (feet) down now lol.

i wish i would have thought about this when i bought the car, i should have asked them to throw in some snow tires lol.

I can't preach that enough, so many people on the Z forums go on about how bad it is in the snow. Again, its not the car, it's the damn tires.
