Durability-
The Jeep® Rubicon™ AWD Mountain Bike has the capability to take you places other bikes won’t… or can’t follow… and the durability to get you back.

In over two years of testing, the AWD system components have required less routine maintenance than the primary drive train. For instance; should the sealed bearings ever need to be replaced, the entire internal drive system can be disassembled for a complete overhaul in less than ten minutes.

The benefits of All Wheel Drive include increased traction in difficult uphill climbs, improved traction in loose surfaces that include sand, snow and mud, and better control in downhill riding. Riders of all levels looking to increase their performance and capabilities will find that the new Rubicon™ AWD mountain bike has what is expected from a Jeep®.

The New Jeep® Rubicon™ AWD Mountain Bike makes all season riding a true reality. Wet, icy and snowy conditions are no longer the obstacle they once were. All Wheel Drive gives you the security and confidence to tackle new trails and conditions.

Components unique to the new Jeep® Rubicon™ AWD Mountain Bike.
• Standard chain driven rear wheel
• Internal, rigid drive shaft front wheel drive
• Instantaneous power transfer to front wheel
• Full steering radius allowing power transfer through the bicycle head tube
• Engagement clutch for "shift-on-the-fly" AWD option
• Spiral cut gears for smooth power transmission
• "Posi-traction" under-driven front wheel (eliminates front wheel “chatterâ€)

Proven Performance Advantages
• Dramatically improve control for all riders
• Front wheel traction in loose terrain like, sand, snow and mud
• Improved cornering abilities climbing and descending
• Improved traction while climbing

AWD MTN. BIKE = BADASS!!!!

pretty sweet bike man :) id like to get a Honda bicycle myself :)

on a side note: i just saw on TBS for the new Tomb Raider movie that Lara Croft drives a Jeep Rubicon in it. it was pretty badass looking :)

yeah rubi's are nice, expensive but nice

ARB Air lockers for both front and rear axles is nice when they are stock, not to mention the 32's that come stock with it :)

AWD bike. that is bad ass. Jeep bikes have gone a long way, about 3-5 years ago, they were selling them right next to huffys at Sears.

I haven't mountian bike in the longest time. That is the one thing that sucks about haveing a Sol. I cant even fit my bike in there when I take off the front AND rear tire. Wont fit in the trunk, it kinda fits in the front but then i can only go solo.

From the page:

AWD works whether you’re peddling or coasting. You will be able to descend with confidence and corner more aggressively due to added front wheel grip.

CoooooooOOOooooooool. So it works when I'm trying to sell speakers out of a white van in the parking lot eh?

They need to fix their web page.

Look at the price though. $2999 for a bike? You could buy a decent CRX or Hatchback for that.

Nice and all but IMO it's not worth it.

I love mountain biking, and awd would be like 2x the phone because both wheels work! This gets

Now I would like to get some reviews by actual bike entusiasts.

When your into a hobby you are that much more willing to spend cash on it

I've seen ROLLER inline speed skates go for over 1200 bucks....
I would stick with a $600 pair myself=)

The new Rubicons come with 32" wheels, 2" body lift, and detroit locker STOCK.

If I were to buy an kind of jeep, I would buy the new rubicon.

Can anyone confirm this? If not please correct me.

Hmmm, not as impressed as I thought I would be.

This is badass though...
