need some help here?!?!?

ok well i was driving the other day about to go out of town and i wanted to check all my systems to ok the car to go well i got on it and about 7k it fell on its face like it cut out or some thing, i thought it might be one of my spark plug wires not on all the way, and i check it and they were all in there right so i had no clue, i took the car out of town not getting on it and it drove fine , i came back home and on the way to a friends i got in to it and at 7k it felt like it hit rev limiter, i have a B18C in a 93 EJ1 with the P72 , theres no CELs idles fine runs smooth but its a 7k it feels like rev limiter, safe mode maybe i have no clue whats going on? can any body help me out?

ok i drove it again its still doing it i reved it up and it hits like a rev limiter a 6700 or so i read it could be a bad dis. or vtec silinoid, its also not throwing a CEL so if that will help a little more thanks.
