I can't agree more with everybody who has posted thus far. Actually, some gay people do piss me off, if you are gay, go ahead be gay, but do go grabbing you boyfriends ass in public, or making out with him with little kids around, if you want some respect show some. Same thing goes with the females, I love to see it, but when you have little children or senior citizens around, that is rude. Christ, when I pull up with my system bumpin' and an older person is next to me, I turn it down out of courtisy, treat people nicely and you will be treated nicely.

That's really just personal bias and your conditioning from society talking... if you truly thought everyone equal, it wouldn't bother you to see guys showing affection to each other in public more than girls or hetero couples.
But it does.
It bothers me a little too, but again- that's just the world we grew up in. I support the GLBT community, but I don't want it to encroach on my personal life. It's really a slightly hipocritical way to think about things, but that's how the world is. Most of us are pro-hetero and uncomfortable with seeing "alternative" stuff no matter how much we support it (or just say that we do).
You could argue that you're not giving proper respect to the gay couple when they're just giving each other a kiss on the sidewalk and you're uncomfortable with it, when seeing a man and woman doing the same thing doesn't bother you...

Not to be offensive to any of the "diverse" hondaswap members but I am so sick and tired of getting these fkn emails at work from this type of society
View why here
You know? Strait people dont have National Strait Days or clubs or organizations promoting being strait, why do they have to provoke the subject. This is work, our employement, what you do in the bedroom should have NO bearing on your work, or you work ethic. It is getting to the point where they make it a point to prove that they are gay. Who fkn cares, I'm Steve and IM STRAIT!!!!!
I feel like Im in high school again.

Typo, and it does seem hypocritical, but seriously, soceity still doesn't allow gay marriage, for the most part, so why should they kiss in public. I understand what you are saying Calesta, but it still makes sense. Soceity is messed up yes, you can't say "shit," but you can see two men kissing. What is going on? For the most part, people are offended by homosexual activity rather than cursing. Which is played into our everyday lives. For example, you are walking in a mall and some guy behinds happens to say shit, most people wouldn't think much of it. But what if you are in the same mall, and walk by to guys kissing? You are most likely to be disgusted/offended. I am just saying if you are gay that is fine with me, you decide what you want to do, but please do show respect in public, most people don't agree with your lifestyle, so please don't force it on us. Now, I am not saying that they shouldn't be allowed places, they can hold hands and hugs, but when they are playing tossil hockey, please, I don't want to see that.
I've been checked out and hit on by gay guys and I just treat them like a chick I wouldn't be interested in. If you're truly tolerant about homosexuals don't talk about it, be about it.
