i have a d16 block and a y8 head what pistion should i use i have heard good things about the usdm zc pistons by the way whats the usdm zc engine code? im concerned about the piston to valve clearance

there is nor never was a usdm ZC. who ever you heard that from, needs to remove his head from his ass

There was no USDM ZC. The ZC is just that- the ZC. REAL ZC blocks have "ZC" stamped on them. Go look at my page. Any engine that's not stamped "ZC" is not really a ZC. Ignore anyone who tells you otherwise.

If you do get the DOHC ZC pistons and toss them in your Y8, you'll get approximately 12.6:1 compression. Run a standard head gasket.

When I said the USDM ZC, I was slacking.... I'm meant what I believe is the D16a1?(DOHC D-series?) and now I don't have the D16 block any more... just a D15b. So what American D-series pistons are the best for a D15by8? swap.(D15 mini me that is) Thanks.
