It was so sketchy loading this car the trailer is high and ramps are short lol. The front end of the car slammed the ramps hard but went up easily since it went down the hill from the driveway.

I also took the whole control arm assemblies with the nice hubs and bearings and speed sensor.

Was rough to keep running I think it was a fuel problem but after about 40 seconds it smoothed out and warmed up and burped up. Fan kicked on and off, so we ready.

I saw this shitbox with mold on it and thought of you

Actually did you see my old white mirage? It looked nasty like that and it was daily driven when I bought it.

The test drive went alright. Accelerates fine. Clearly very slowly hahahaha. Reworked my exhaust patch. I have a P1166 or a p1116 I don’t remember. Either way I have spare parts for both.

Changed to the low miles MaF from the blue car and voila all problems solved.

Back to where it all started! Should have probably replaced the clutch disc when I had the chance lol

Jon came over with some long acre plates today and we fixed the alignment. Took about 20 minutes and 4 adjustments.

Bad news, the clutch slips in higher gears. Gonna have to fix that before too long. And the pass side front wheel bearing may be howling a bit :)

I kept the washer bottle from the other car hoping it would fit because it’s in the bumper and not the engine bay, but there are no provisions for it and I didn’t want to take off the bumper to monkey around. However the pump was the same and now I have working washed nozzles.

$50 a week and I can ship a Snap-On CT8850 1/2 to your door ! you can use the harbor freight as a paperweight or tire scotch ersumshit

50 a week nope harbor freight is having a sale hahahaha

Anyways it charged.

So I put a few more miles in the car then started taking it apart again for the clutch. I also busted my vice trying to get the axles out of the other knuckles.

Going to slide the trans over on some bolts and not remove the axles... worked a treat for the mitsu.

Used thumbs as the full size images are being fucky.

When you open up the pictures to full size, one of them is a pic of some Skunk2 B-series cams, lol.

This afternoon I removed all the bolts except for the xmember ones they are just loose. Next chance I get I’ll support the motor and slide the thing over to get the clutch.
