Alright guys, I've got a little bit of rust in the corner of my car, and im not sure how i should fix it. I dont want to go out and buy huge parts, any ways i can get rid of the rust without replacing the door?

cut and weld a new peice of skin in there but the whole door skin is probably the way to go .....then go to Zeibart and get the super rustproofing, its like 600$ but I drive every day in the winter and Iowa uses tons of salt but no probs whatever on my 95

How big is the rust, how deep, where EXACTLY? If you have holes, depending on size, I'd have them cut out. But if it's bad bad, look at new parts, new skin, or um, a new car.

Rust sucks. I had to cut as much of the rust off as possible, then fiberglass resin on it and body filler to smooth it. And its been 5 months and I already see rust coming back. Damn. I hate honda rust.

wont the rust come back in a year or so even with bondo?

If you get all of the rusted metal cut out, weld in a patch panel and then bondo it it shouldnt rust for quite some time.

All rust holes and scaly rust should be completely removed. The surface rust should be sanded off or rust converter used. You don't wanna paint over a turd. Take the time, and do it right. If done right, and painted properly, you won't see rust for years besides the occasional rock chip.

See, what sucks though is the rear panel is a part of an entire clip. And that don't come cheap. I think now they use urethane for fender pieces to replace the cheap steel they used to use.
