I was wondering if anyone knew what the thread was on the center section of a Mistu TD04L turbo for oil feed and return. THANKS!

are you sure its from a wrx? every wrx/sti turbo i've seen starts with VF__ as the name.... and i don't think they are mitsubishi turbos either...

Yup its from a 2002 wrx. Its got the mitsu diamond on the exhaust housing. I forget where to check turbo serial numbers(used to be some website). But i am 100% positve its from a 2002 wrx.

I think the turbo hes got says TD04L on it. Ive got the same thing sitting in my garage I belive, Ill have to look and see what tread it is.
Ill let ya know as soon as i get a chance.

Yup, it's definitely a Mitsu TD04 turbo (although I've heard debate about exactly WHICH TD turbo it is). All non-STi's come with it. The STi comes with the IHI VF39. The IHI VF turbos are a favorite upgrade because they're not very large and have an internal wastegate.

Don't know about the thread size though, sorry. :(

I just searched the hell outa HMT.com and found out that out that the thread is m10X1.5...what type of fitting would i get then? anyone know...i want a barbed fitting and all the places i look are either NPT, BSPT, etc. Ayone know what that thread converts to?

Okay found an 10mm x 1.5 to 4 AN adapter fitting on summti... Is 4 AN too big for the oil feed? whats the best AN size for it? I read somewhere that 4 AN = 1/2", Sounds too big to me.

Well i found a adapter fitting on summit and a barb fitting to match. So i am good to go. Thanks for all you help!

you probaly should lok into a m10x1.5 banjo to -3 if you use a straight fiting you will have sealing isues unless you can find a oringd washer to fit it
