What Happened To The Speedo

i popped a check engine code seventeen which is the vss.... can anyone tell me where to locate the vehicle speed sensor? the motor is a first gen. b16.

its ontop of the transmission.

where the cable enters the tranny....do i take out teh bolt to remove the unit? :unsure:
