I have a 99 ls block and a jdm b16a2 head with no dizzy. I wanted to know if I could use a obd 1 d series dizzy off a sohc vtec motor on my b16a2 head? I asked this question before and was told that i can't but I talked to a shop and they said they have done it before but I would have to make brackets because the holes don't line up when you mount it. does anyone know for sure?

it CAN be done .... but its just kinda hacked together using one bolt

personally i would pass on that shit and just get the right distributor

DITTO.

I've seen some people use a SOHC dizzy on their B-series engine, and it worked, but it didn't last long. Car starts to run shitty. B-series dizzy is the only way.

really makes me wonder why people skimp on important-ass things like this (and converting an OBD1 vehicle to OBD-0 spec). mind boggling.
