wtb obd1 - obd2b jumper

Hey fellas, I have a 1995 civic and I am putting a 2000 gs-r engine in with its ecu, but i don't have the teg harness. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I need a obd1 to obd2b ecu adapter. Cause from what I've read the difference between obd2a and obd2b seems to be the years of the car? obd2a being 1996-1999 and b being 2000-2001? Let me know if I'm right about this or if you have one kickin around or a link of where i can find one.

also, i guess i could also get away with buying a 2000or 2001 wiring harness that extends from the ecu to the underdash fuse box to the engine harness. let me know which way i should wire this up.
