the jdm itr has short gears, i thought that with boost you wanted long gears so that you could stay at optimum boost for longer? i already have a gsr tranny, would i be better off to just rebuild it and use the lsd than to go with the ls tranny?

i have 10k to spend on the motor and the transmission i was planning on running an ls transmission, dues to the longer gears, along with a lsd does this setup look like it will yield around 550 to the wheels with minimal turbo lag and good throttle response? also, what is a reputable company...

i am using arias pistons with a 3.205" inch bore and a head cc of 41.6 when i calculated my head gasket thickness to achieve clearance it came out to .3146. i had planned on using a multi-layer cometic head gasket, but they come in .30. so, do i need to special order a head gasket witha...

i wasnt buying the im just to use the nitrous, i also wanted better flow.............even if i did use the plate kit wouldnt the motor still flow better with the aftermarket im? can you use the NOS nitrous controller with the plate kit? what are the advantages of the plate kit a regular direct...

i went to the swain site and noticed that they also offer coating for heads and valvetrain. due to the heat that will be produced from the nitrous, should i look into these coatings as well? or are those more for full blown race motors?

i think i will look into the arias pistons......how much would the ceramic coating cost? also, with 10.1:1 arias pistons, how much would i need to mill the head and block to reach around 10.5:1? thanks for all the help

i have a 95 gsr and am in the process of collecting parts for my rebuild. i plan to spray and am lookin for pistons with a compression ratio in the 10's. preferably somewhere around 10.5:1. i have looked everywhere and have had no luck. does anyone know where i can find pistons for this...

anyone have any experience with dh-racing? they have an intake manifold/throttle body combo that is guaranteed to make 25 at the wheels.........its a stock intake manifold fully ported w/ a 74/67 taper bored throttle body. this runs ya 550 i cant decide between this and an eddlebrock...
