    i think i know what my little "clunk" noise is when i let off the accelerator. in all the articles i have read, it says you are suppose to trim back your stock exhaust a little when you use it in your swap... but we didn't, and i can feel the clunk right under my feet, close to where the exhaust...

    just wondering if i was crazy, but it seems like my DOHC vtec is at higher rpms during normal driving, than the sohc non vtec. is this normal? like at 100 mph, i am in 5th gear and around 6k rpm... where as the sohc non vtec motor at 100mph was at 5k rpm. could it be my tach is off?

    i just did this swap, and i am by no means honda swap guru... but from what i understand, you will NEED to use your wiring harness, or a wiring harness from an ex of the same year! you should not have half as many problems i did, since you have vtec already!

    repinning my ecu

    just recently did a 99 SI swap, into my 96 dx coupe. I am using the dx engine harness and an obd2a to obd1 conversion harness. i have to repin my dx harness, but how do i pull the pins out with out doing damage to them? is there a trick to it?

    not sure how much that is going to help me out??? i am running an obd1 p30 ecu (with conversion harness) onto an obd2a wiring harness???? another question... i have to hardwire another plug, the one right near the alternator??? but i don't know what the plug is, or where to run it into the ecu...

    can you, or can you not?!

    (this question is for a friend), but can you use the wiring harness from a DOHC VTEC motor (when swapping a DOHC VTEC motor into it of course) in a 96-98 civic? i was told that you HAD to use the stock wiring harness with the car, but my friend seems to think this is not true???
