Currently i have a D16Y8 in my crx and came across a cheap Z6 engine that i want to rebuild. It's got 220k miles on it and ran fine. I have been toying with a setup that will give me around 12.3:1 compression ratio using Z6 block, PM3 pistons, Y8 head and gasket. I've never done a build up...
The shifter shouldn't matter should it? I can't remember where i got the shifter but it's pretty generic i think. I just need to know what the stock counterweight weighs. It's seperate from the shifter but is connected to the shift linkage??? radius rod? i don't know whatever is between the...
When short throw shifer was insalled, the counterweight under the shifter was cut-off to clear exhaust. I'm getting vibrations so i need to put some sort of weight back on. The weight is actually attatched to the rod that connects to the bottom of the shifter. Basically i just need a rough...

I have a 1988 CRX and when i bought it was told it was an HF, however i think some of the parts, brakes in particular, resemble that of the Dx. Does anyone know how to truely tell them apart? Would it be in the vin # somewhere? THANKS!
I've been looking at getting some new shock and Tokico HP and KYB GR-2 shocks are around the same price. Which are better? anyone have feedback on either of them? THanks!
I was screwing with my 88 CRX and wanted to adjust the clutch cable so that i didn't have to let the pedal out all the way untill i felt some friction when driving. My hanes manual says that there should be .75-1 inch of "arm freeplay." Does this mean the amount of cable slack that moves...
