I ahve a 1994 Civic with a D16Z6 and im new to turbocharging and i was wondering if it is possible to run stock pistons with tuner toy rods? How much power can the pistons take? I have been reading about turbocharging for about a year and understand the basics. Any help would be great thanks.

How many people running a boosted setup have tuned there ECU? I am planning on rebuilding my motor for 11 psi, (tuner toy rods, 8.5:1 low comp Vitara Pistons, new head gasket, ARP Headstuds) and didn't know if it was necessary to reprogram it. Thanks

i have a d16z6 running 6 lbs of boost, DSM 450 injectors, 3in exhaust, and i want to get an adjustable cam gear (not sure what one yet). But how would i know where i have set the advance or retard? Don't you want to retard the timing on a boosted setup? Thanks
