    Man drove it tonight.

    Its 8-9lbs in 1st, 9-10lbs in 2nd, 12-13lbs in 3rd, 14lbs in 4th and 5th.

We tried 14lbs in every gear and it won't go now where lol it just spins 1-4th lol.

Dustins going to put it on the dyno when it comes and he's ganna squeeze some more power out of it safely.

It'll Probably end up over 350 once we dial it in on the dyno.

He said after tuning it and driving it he's very impressed with how the car is responding so he decided to turn the boost up some more.

But the timing is very conservative and rev limiter set at 8k redline.

So far very happy. This thing is kinda difficult to keep on the road. lot's of torque steer lol.

Had to ductape it. Windshield wipers will go off constantly. Only way to prevent it in a cheap way.

    Man.

Think the Head Gasket is on its way out ffs.

Its pushing coolant out the reserve bottle.

Plus its got slight pools of oil under intake manifold and just a little hint under cam gears. Where head meets the block.

Yes you are correct. The head is getting hot and is floating and pressurizing the coolant.

Its got a metal hg. But looks like oem head studs.

I'm ganna buy the correct hg and arp head studs and resurface the head and put everything back in.

    Then we will tune it.

The CTR is quick and fun to drive as a daily driver and I like it a lot.

But let me tell you something.

The ek is a beast man. We had to dial in the bbg a litter better.

Before it just spin tires on straight 14lbs boost

Now it spins and pulls at the same time lmfao.

Its hard to explain you have to experience it.

But damn bro. You would probably have to be putting down 500whp to run me especially if your heavy.

The damn thing just pulls. Its loads of fun to drive.

Once we redo everything were ganna bump it up a little in each gear and run 15lbs.

It does good for how small the turbo is. The fucking turbo spools before vtec hits now lmao

I thinks its because of the changes made to the exhaust and the fact that I got the new manifold and ceramic coated it.

Turbo spools at like 3500rpm but its got such a kick can't even notice vtec lolz

My ek would freakin walk my CTR however CTR would get it on top end.

And I absolutely love ls 5th gear

If your talking about the guy I bought the rolling shell and engine from...?

    FUCK NO!

That bitch cost me so much fucking money.

I had to rewire THE ENTIRE FUCKING HARNESS FROM ENGINE BAY TO FUCKING FUEL TANK.

Even the fucking lights on the car wouldn't work ffs.

He probably cost me $5k Just in fucking wiring.

If I EVER buy another "shell" I will purchase a completely stock em1 WITH NO CUSTOM SHIT OR MODS OR BULLSHIT.

FUCK them BITCHES I know what to fucking look for now. My ass is fucking educated now.

I have had to rebuild this fucking car from the ground up and my interior and exterior still looks like shit from having replace practically everything on the mother fucking car as far as safety/performance shit. End rant.

If this motor blows after I change the HG and drop in arps I'm not doing anything else to it. Its about time to start building the other motor. I'v been slowly getting parts for it. All I need is turbo and maybe another manifold, head pnp and built with web cams and supertech valvetraine and built basically. Then ganna get bigger injectors, Hondata COP, e85, bigger fuel pump and hopefully a projay intake manifold.

Looking to make 800whp+. I have been thinking about going awd but I would need a fabricator that could build me something light but strong works 50/50 or 70/30. I do love fwd tho. But shit 800whp on fwd.... Even with my trans being built. I don't think it would be drivable lol.... Or it would just spin for days.

So I still have a few things to buy.

Btw me current motor shoots flames out the dump tube and tailpipe lmfao fucking scares other drivers and passerbys.

Next thing im getting after HG and and ARPs are done is fucking tires that will hook.

Anyway wish me luck. Should be back at it hopefully in 2 weeks. Gatta save up a little for the HG ARPs and Tires.

I made ~400 whp with a similar setup and it was decent on the street. But I had wider, stickier Falken Azenis. All this and you're on stock tires? Lol

Ya saving up for better tires.

    Update:

I am buying a Golden Eagle Advanced Seal Headgasket and ARP head studs.

Hopefully after this I will be able to enjoy the car for a while.

So many weak points on this motor smh.

I'ma be pissed if the bottem end goes out on me after this. I swear the bullshit never ends.

I see why people go all motor....

But anyways 2 weeks or so and I should be back in action "Hopefully"

You are building something that was engineered to be nothing but an econobox. Issues should be expected :) I went through the same struggle with my build.

Well I hope this is the last thing I have to do to this motor so I can start building my other motor.

I'v been doing some research on my problem.

Everything points to the headgasket especially since it was already leaking oil some prior to the coolant being pressurized.

But I have also read this could be the cause of a cracked sleeve as well.

But the fact that the headgasket was already leaking oil+pressurized coolant system along with oem head bolts my guess is headgasket.

I just don't want to spend money on a headgasket and arp head studs only to find out I have a cracked sleeve.

What would be the likelihood of a cracked sleeve?
