Shit, over here in NJ, you can't get a decent 1 bedroom for 700 and that's cheap in the hood, I'm talking Newak/Camden.

i'm in the same boat. i live in seattle, which is pretty close. but the gf wouldn't think it's too good.

try getting a place near a college. you can always find rooms for pretty cheap. but, i would go for the live in nanny type of thing. there are a shit ton of those here in seattle. just check cl
