    trying to loose 20 lbs is nealy as many days... most of you know why :D gotta try to look my best for the wife :p

    3 work outs down... 22 to go.
    i've completed one routine cycle over the past couple days, and, well, i'm back. lol

    yesterday i was a flabby tard in my arms.

    today, my arms are pretty much back to the size they used to be back when i was lifting daily. lol gotta love being 'big'. size is there, but the definition is hidden behind the extra fat.

    i'm doing a lot of cutting and high rep stuff. i don't need to bulk up... its there already... just need to kill some fat, and get it toned up.

    anyway, i guess this will count as a 'before' photo.

    let's see how i do over the next couple weeks :)

    walk/run everywhere. I lost 15lbs in about 2 months doing that(walked/ran from work to home about two-three times every week); went from 150-135 and now at 141lbs. My joggin pace is about 2miles every 15minutes, and took me about an hour and a half to jog home, so about 30-40miles a week.

    so what would you say the best workout is for cutting your arms and getting them bigger? and how much weight to use

    i went for a pathetic jog last night. i made it all of a 1/2 mile. lol i might go for another jog in a couple hours. i ate a couple hours ago, so i was ok do to some minor arm lifting (did bi's and tris tonight) but i'm not quite ready to run. i'll see if i can make it further than i did the other night. hehe

    cutting and getting bigger are two entirely different styles which require differen't exercises... and well, thats not the point of this thread. :p

    Yeah, it's transdermal, So it does away with ingestion degredation issues. It's not an instant effect, but after 2-3 weeks you'll notice a difference(even moreso while working out and eating well). Instant side-effects you'll notice are a better/deeper sleep, and tighter skin/fewer wrinkles. A guy I see alot at the gym told me about it a few weeks ago and swears by it, so I just ordered a bottle a few days ago.

    hrm, i might give it a shot.

    i can't take pills (can't swallow for shit), and most powders/shakes give me the shits something fierce... lol

    and if she doesn't, at least I will :) Goals for yourself > goals for anything/anyone else.

    no prob, but there's already a thread on this a couple posts down started by cheese.

    dammit b, we just had this talk the other night. i remember specificially asking you about smoking, and you said no big deal. I said back to you, "yeah, don't change yourself like working out a whole bunch just to try and impress her"

    now, it's exactly what you are doing. oh well man, i've done it before to. just make it a lifestyle and not a one time thing.

    who said i quit smoking? lol she knows i do... i may quit, i may not. we'll see what happens. but thats not in the plan right now. i have cut back some though the past few days.

    i'm doing this for myself, not for her. I want to look good for her, not i want her to think i look good.

    I always eat better and am in way better shape when i'm with a girl. i don't know why, but thats just how i've always been.

    you said you are NOT going to quit smoking. and i applauded you for being yourself. but i know exactly how you feel though. i got into phenomenal shape for my ex. then she got insecure about me going to the gym because there were girls there. ain't life a bitch. haha. oh well, not my problem, i got fat. now i'm single and getting ripped again.

    oh, and i'm not the huge bohemeath that every makes me out to be, huh? lol

    i don't have a scale at my place, but last time i was at my parents house, i was 265.

    i'm approx 6'1.

    most people don't think i weigh anywhere near that... which i guess is a good thing.

    yeah, i got a little bit of a gut, but i'm far from being "fat" at least in my opinion...

    A good trick to remember is that for every gallon of ice cold water you drink it takes your body 123 callories to bring it to body temp, 2 gallons a day is 250 extra callories burned not to mention it allows the kidneys to work at 100% which frees up the liver to burn fat
