Do you ever feel like a puppet, because you are. Just a different kind.

I wonder which puppet is going to win?

Do you ever feel like a puppet, because you are. Just a different kind. I mean really, did you even read all those articles? Or just Google and paste. The Al Jazzera one is only saying that there is no official count yet, and the first one barely mentions the elections.

Now, can we drop the partisan crap and just hope that we can apply that $1 billion a week to something useful to Americans?

An account of some issues that arose due to lack of supplies, and a couple voters that didn't understand that ballots. It's a war torn nation with a high illiteracy rate, sue em, they aren't perfect

This is a good one. Not even about the elections, but instead a Sunni that is going to run in the election because now the Shiites can get control of his region. Along with realizing that getting involved with the process can get rid of Americans more effectively than trying to blow them and other Iraqis up. Relevence factor to the elections? None.
Regardless of who wins there is going to be a lot of shit still:

Well, in a country run and torn by religious division, what will make it work? Got some ideas? No one on the planet was expecting the country to bloom into peace and prosperity overnight because they had elections.
Oh and this will be a another great CNN moment:

Maybe you can shed some light on your posting this one. A city official that is happy about elections even though he could be killed, he still supports it, thanks for posting it.

Honestly did you read those, check it out I will sumerize this for you as you are not going to read them. First one is about the policy and future outlook of the elections. Second one brings up the elections in the first sentace, and brings up the possibility of irregularities in the Iraqi election process. Third one is an open ended opinion article about how the incentive to get the US out of their country is an incentive to vote (92b16vx says:just touching on this one here too, no it isn't, it's about a guy who is running for office because he sees it as a way to get rid of America. Read your links). Fourth one is another opinion piece about how the elections are not really going to change anything(92b16vx says:Sorry, have to butt in here again too. Once again, no it isn't. Did you even read these? Here let me pull a section of it out here..." Fadel acknowledged that many in his country appear ungrateful for America's foreign assistance. He said most Iraqis are still in "shock" over the changes, and need time to adjust.
Any public monument to Bush is likely to further incense terrorist forces, who have attacked American troops and their supporters for months.
Fadel said he is undaunted.
"We have a lot of work and we are especially grateful to the soldiers of the U.S.A. for freeing our country of tyranny," No where does it display distress about nothing working out, hell it's optimistic if anything)
" And the fifth one it appears you actually read. So which ones again do not mention topics related to this election?
Do you think it's good that a nation as fucked up as this one had a chance for it's people to give a hand in their own future, and had the balls to stand up and do it in the face of possible death?

Im surprised that some of you still find reason to down on this monumental day.
The Iraqi people are participating in the greatest political process ever - did YOU see their faces on the news? Everybody was smiling and the lines to the polling places went for miles. . . .
I'd Say that many of you STILL are trying to find reasons to condem our efforts in Iraq. Im not saying i like the fact that our men and women are over there giving their lives for this, but if any of you really "Support our Troops" then you will support what they are doing.

Of course I do not remember anything said about planning elections and democracy, only about sarin and VX gas and WMDs.
Tell us the goddamned truth.

But this was about WMDs and the imminent threat they posed to America. The unproked invasion of a Sovereign State and torture are both violations of International Law.
