So I started doing research so I can budget my move back to CT from Reno, and came across this site so I could plan my fuel budget. Found it pretty informative.

http://www.fuelgaugereport.com/sbsavg.asp

Hopefully they don't move too much in the next 2-3 weeks, because as it looks now, it will cost me approximately $4500 for diesel for the moving truck, and another $1500 for the gas to go in the Explorer...

I was trying to compare gas prices to Feb. 2006 when I moved out here, and couldn't find a site that gives me the average prices or national average...Could someone link me to something that might so I can better budget...

Thanks.

you can make a decent amount of money to suppliment your trip by stopping at truck stops along the way... more money can be made if you push your own head down

i dunno you might be better off taking out a full page ad in the vegas papers offering to run drugs and contraband to the east coast. i bet you'll find some people to finance your trip.

:D

Yes, he'll end up driving a car full of 4" pocket knives to New Jersey, a carton of cigarettes to NY (Well worth the trip) or a wind power turbine due for Cape Cod.

I actually told the roomies that if they had to schlob the knob at the truck stops to fill up the tank, so be it. I figure at $20 for a BJ, that's about 4 gallons, so it will be 6 for each of them to fill the truck up...They are on their own for the fuel in their cars...

Wow. I thought Lot Lizard was a great industry, like stripping and working at porn shops.

Hey, I see a pattern

Whats the time table lookin like ?

I get the truck on Thursday, which will be packed up throughout the day...We leave Friday morning, and I figure five days to North Carolina, then another day or two back to CT...Hoping by next friday, the 25th--Provided all goes well.

Sounds good...

My roommate used to install cable and has all the tools to "fix" that problem...I'll talk to him...
