I just looked up HFP mufflers on eBay. $300! F that. 235 for the Fit HFP one. Looks like I gotta keep my eye out for a steal, or just, well, steal one.

Edit: Oh, and I know thats not a bad price for what it is, kinda, but still. My no name muffler that was on mine when I bought it is quiet enough. to not shell out the cash.

I found a blue SiR conversion with a black hood. Wants a grand, bumper needs touching up but it comes with 2 sets of head lights, one with HIDs.

My mind changes every day. Here are my pros and cons of importing a CRX SiR...

PROS
-Pretty much everything I want is already done
-Don't have to deal with cutting out rust and repaint
-Don't have to convert everything (motor, front end, glass top, seats, ect)

CONS
-Pretty costly to import a nice one, on average $7000
-I already have my CRX
-I could get pretty close to SiR spec for cheaper
-RHD kinda sucks

imo you should take the cash that youre sitting on and just pay a body shop to fix the rust. sand and paint yourself. then swap a b16 in and be happy with your lower cost, b16-powered, LHD legal and registered CRX

That sounds like a better idea. My uncle is the perfect guy for the job. I'd probably get a SiR front end conversion then get him to paint the car. He owes us a bit of cash too.

On a side note my dad bought a 1998 Chev Astro today, fully loaded for $3800 from a dealer. Before we bought it my dad took it to my shop and they did an inspection, it only needs front rotors. Other then that its really clean. This is what we're taking to SoCal now and I guess the Accord is up for sale soon.
