I've been working outside a bit the past few weeks getting everything going.
Have 2 herb buckets with everything from parsley to oregano to chives to lemongrass to basil to cilantro and a few others i can't think of right now. WAY over-sededed these... will need to thin out as more come up.
tomato and pepper plants are just about ready to get hardened off outside for a week... tomatoes got pretty leggy :/
meyer lemon and key lime trees. will take these inside in the winter as they will die up here. not expecting too much out of these, but they were cheap enough so what the hell.
the lady uses a ton of lime and lemon so if these get a few fruits, it's a good deal.
you can also see the hangers where the herbs will be on the deck rail there once it's warmer out at night (still hitting 40s) and the herbs are taller.
This is a 3-in-1 apricot, plum, and nectarine tree, also self-pollinating. need to mulch it up.
grape vines are coming back to life. they grow so fast. about 5" of new growth this month!
heirloom corn went in last weekend:
not much to see yet lol
cherry tree.... bugs are already owning this poor thing.
the strawberry patch is starting to flower. should have some berries in June.
Blueberries are starting to bloom as well
not much to see here yet, but this is 2 rows of scallions, red onions, spinach, kale, carrots, and rhubarb. i don't think the rhubarb took at all.
3 half-circles of peas starting to come up:
Granny smith apple tree in the foreground and the 4-in-1 grafter in the back
spanish/yellow onions kinda hard to see the shoots
The remaining space will be for the cukes, peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, broccoli, summer squash, and a few bush green/wax beans. I'm going to throw a few pumpkins and a few watermelon plants in if i can as well.
I need more land :/
