It's a remake of a 1960's movie, done by a graphic novelist, of a 2500 year old story that was told and retold.

if you went into this movie thinking it was going to be accurate and realistic, you're an idiot.

Dude...

It's a movie, based on a graphic novel, based on a battle that took place in the ancient world. Of course it's exaggerated, of course it's not historically accurate, it's meant to be entertainment! I hate it when people talk about this movie and say, "oh well it's so innacurate!" They weren't striving for historical accuracy. It's not a documentary, it's a fictional story loosely based on 3,000 year-old events, meant to entertain, not teach history. If you want a factual account of the battle of Thermopylae, then turn on the History Channel.

And yes, I already bought it.

I don't think I have any to give out... you probably got axed due to your ratio (after a certain amt of days) or if you weren't active in a given amount of time, I assume. They're not nazis as far as I have seen, but, I don't use the forums there, either. I just leave my torrent open.

As for the movie... I haven't seen it, so I'll have to load it up a little later. I hear good things about it.
