Exactly 1 year and 23,952 miles ago I took delivery of my 2012 Veloster from Herb Chambers Hyundai of Auburn . Couldn't have made a better purchase of this great "Monday" car . Here's to another year and many thousands of miles!

its only 50% . if i keep the car long enough to have to redo the tint (it has a 5 year warranty) i'll go darker.

It's cold here he lives, he needs all the help he can get to keep that engine warm.

Seriously, it might be an issue of glare off the hood.

The car heats just fine. There is no glare from the wrap it is matte finished.

Just seems odd to change the color topside, then make the wheels body color. Or it's just me. Car still looks pretty good overall though, and I'm glad you're enjoying it!

Well the cars trim pieces are all matte black that's why the hood and hatch. If I could afford the carbon pieces... Well maybe next year.

The wheels are red because I wanted alike body colored wheels :)

well then...

I also installed the pipe extension that runs down in front of the foglamp hole. The CAI is a little louder than stock. you can really "hear" the throttle lag. well i have something for that too.

This installs at the clutch switch, so the ECU doesn't "soften" the shifts with the electronic throttle. It also removed the "ECO" shift indicator and shuts off cruise control. I just have to flip the switch to turn it all back on. The switch is mounted up under the dash.

been working on the lights, but they escape me... traced the door grounds to the kick panel and for the short time ran a fuse tap at the fusebox for dome lights but they just stay on when the doors are closed.. disconnected the wiring and i'm going to have someone at the big meet this coming weekend check them out.

i ended up getting the door lights working by running ground to the OTHER wire at the door switch. buttoned it all up before i left last week.

anyways...

whiteline rear sway bar!

turn in has improved greatly. havent had a chance to stress it much yet but so far i'm glad i bought it.

This one was developed by Rhys Millen Racing for whiteline.

Sweet. Although it doesn't take a genius to "develop" a sway bar... just some trials and some math to figure out how thick you wanna go. :D
