hey just incase anyone is curious, kristen wasnt mad. she is afraid to drive it though... the tiny turbo exhibits zero lag and it instantly moves.
not me man. i've driven shit tons of much faster cars.
it does make me grin like an idiot though! and from what i read, after it's broken in it will get a little better.

i bet 50hp 70-80tq gains are very well within reason....

BTR SFR and now Tork make tunes for the car. with bolt ons and not upping the boost we're seeing anywhere between 40-60hp and more depending on grade of gas.
I am very pleased with how the car drives though! It exhibits ZERO throttle lag (the red car had a serious throttle lag until I fixed it with a cheap throttle switch to stop the ECU from hanging the revs) or turbo lag. Little engine, little turbo, big funs.
I did notice the 2013 manuals I drove had some of the throttle lag. this car... it feels like a cable throttle car.

same as the other veloster. you can fit 2 6ft tall men in the front and rear passenger seat, with a tiny bit of room to spare. nothing but my size peeps behind the drivers seat.
well, it is. my feet are also off the pedals and up against the seat.
