I'm in the process of buying a 1981 Civic CVCC hatchback.
>The body and frame are excellent for it's age. It's a nice looking car (Classic).
> The engine a (1.5)L is shot, the tranny is an automatic and still works.
>I have looked into finding engine swaps but had no luck. The original egine is also hard to find used or rebuilt because of the age.
> I was able to get info from HOOK- UPS in Upland-California but they have never done any projects like this. They are pros in engine work for 88 and up Hondas and Acuras but they have never raced out an 81 Civic CVCC.
>If anyone knows of any engine and tranny swaps or projects similar to this one it wil help me out. Thanks for your time
