Another IACV thread....

Who here has successfully repaired their IACV? I have a 95 GSR, had the nasty erratic idle, took off the IACV cleaned the screen and tightened the white ring that threads inside of it. Now a month later it is back. Any ideas? links?

Did you do a swap? Is the ECU the same as the engine?

no swap. straight up virgin B18C1 in a 95 GSR.

If you have been there and done that then the wax valve inside has gone bad...get a new one.

My buddy I worked with at Honda postponed his IACV for a night. That morn. he was downshifting to a 4-way stop and the idle surged....launching him and his pristine teggy into a truck. They are worth the $...

Yeah the idle is really annoying, any idea of where i should get one online?
