Anyone with them?? if i were to get these, id get em in 205/50-15

id like something that lasts...... and sub 100 dollars.

im running them on my sol right now (205/50/15)
over all i like them

pros:
they are very good in dry conditions
they are great in the rain
they hold hard cornering well on the street
they have a VERY early warning before breaking traction while cornering
they seem to be wearing well (way better than the re010's that i had before them)

cons:
they take a while to warm up to a good opperating temp

i havent taken them on a road course yet so i cant tell you how they do under those conditions
they did well on RT 17 in VT :)
they dont do too well for autocross (they really dont get time to warm up)

i would get them again for street tires, but i would get a dedicated set of race tires for any serious track use

yeah well right now im not doing the whole serious track or even autocross right as of now. im just soon to be in the market for new tires, and i was looking at those over the azenis, due to the fact that they will last longer.

i thought thats what you had when we were on rt 17.

check out the yokohama avs es 100, if you are looking for a tire for auto-x and sub 100 bucks. I have had good luck with them, and so have my buddies.

yup i was running the MXs

bill had the azenis

i had azenis for a short time ( i went to college for first year and mom drove it) and i never got to take advantage of them. Those tires easy to warm up? are they pretty decent when semi cold, or only warm??? i bet people have asked this is the past, but if azenis owners could contribute some input, it would be much much appreciated. THANKS E.

My Azenis are awesome. Shaved 2 sec off my auto-x times. They are sticky, have great turn-in, are predictable, okay in the rain, and CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!! $53 bucks (195/65/14) SHIPPED from Discount Tire Direct and those guys are great too!!

the azenis are sweet. even in the rain. i had the 14's. last autocross my mirage took 2nd in the stock class, due to the fact i had traction. i easily had the slowest car at the autox.
