is it worth buying. i found one for $250 from all the way out in california. any huge advantage maybe like porting the upper part of the intake runner by the throttle body over the stock h22?
Regular H22A manifolds are 2 stage meaning they have two sets of holes in the runners in the manifold. One opens at low engine speeds and the other opens at high engines speeds ( for better fuel economy at lower speeds). This hinders performance however as even when both are open there is a bottleneck effect in the manifold. Now the Euro R mani has single stage (like the ITR) meaning that inside the manifold runners the diameter is constant at all engine speeds. Nice find and a very good price. Should free Hp/torque across the the whole powerband along with more response.
