my boy has a 92 obd1 civic cx hacth we got a 99 sohc vtec motor for him but now he doesnt know wat else he needs 2 make it complete and make it from like it came from the factory.


so my question is wat will he need to preform a obd2 to obd1 conversion so tht his sohc vtec motor will run right.

just wire vtec and plug in a P28 ecu

John has an article on the main page about wiring vtec via the shock tower connectors, if your friend is interested in making it look like it came from the factory

well i was informed the he has a 94 obd1 civic cx bubble and a 00 sohc vtec motor will it still work

Yeah it will sork the same the 00' motor is obd 2 as well as any motor after 95... emissions standard.
