Ignition switch question

Will the ignition switch off an 88 Accord work on a 94?

My buddy currently has an 88, and he found a 94 that needs a new ignition switch. Since he has another switch and key, will it work?

Edit: Perhaps I should clarify and say that it's not the entire ignition switch, but rather, just the lock assembly.

I will say no- just buy one on ebay if you're trying to save money. Take it from someone who has replaced a Honda lock cylinder- you want to do that job right the first time.
