i'm not trying to be a douche, but you are spending like $2500 on legos. now, unless you can sell those legos, it looks like a waste of money to me. thats a semester of school, or a lot of debt to pay off. or some nice improvements on the civic or the house.

First off, I'm not spending 2500 on legos. I am spending money on a hobby (and it won't be anywhere even remotely close to that figure), you tell me that spending money on a hobby is useless but then tell me I can spend money on 'improvements for the civic' (aka a hobby) and that isn't useless? There's a difference in spending 5-10 bucks on legos here and there and 2500 (your ridiculous number) for a semester of school.

You completely took the point of this thread off its base, I was fucking around asking for entertainment and you tell me how to improve myself for work which will do nothing anyway. A degree isn't going to make customers call for work in our downtime, it's just another monthly expense I don't want.

Sorry for having a Hobby. Next thing you'll tell me is to stop eating so fucking much, all you do is shit it out so why bother? Put the money into schooling.

I'm not cranky, I'm just bored of the "improve yourself" bullshit. I mean shit man, I bought a house at 23 years old. If you ask me, I'm doing fan-fucking-tastic for myself. I wanted someone to talk to, not a self improvement seminar.

But its like this, I ski. I am ok, but I am trying to always get better.

My brain only knows so much so in turn I try and always improve it because I know I can. Its similar to my body and my working out, my car and my slowly doing stuff to it, and the rest of my life. If I can improve it with a small sacrifice wouldn't I?

I was out working till 6. Amazing how there isn't anything to do during the day work wise, but it never fails that I'm working past 5 on a friday on days like this.
