yeah i think i have a solution thoughYou won't need to re-tune it. A stock obd2 ecu will run the car provided it had stock injectors and sensors. No matter what you do, it's gonna be a bitch.

that just sounds like too much work for me. so i think im going to register it at my grandpas address (he lives in idaho in an area where emissions arent req'd). is there any problems i might run into with this? my dad suggested it but didnt really explainAll you can do is try to put the factory obd2 ecu in with stock injectors. You are going to have to wire up all of the sensors that will make the obd2 ecu happy. Such as the secondary o2 sensor you probably dont have anymore. Correction your missing that and the primary because your are running in open loop. So yeah, you get the idea, you will have to temporaily make all of these sensors happy and hope to god you pass.
