at the time i didnt have the cash to do a k swap or even b swap so i figured id mini me swap. skunk 2 almost everything, had the head surfaced and was about to put it all together when i ran into a video were a guy said he had surfaced the head but not the block and his car burned up alot of oil... what do yall think? i do appreciate it fellas happy holidays

The head gasket between the layers should make stock or shaved irrelevant so long as it's flat.

Oil burning is probably bad rings

indeed, i would suspect burning coolant / compression long before burning oil if the sealing surface was bad.
