Mmmmmmm New Toys

Bought a used Vishnu twin-dump downpipe

and used Samco silicone intercooler hoses this weekend

('cept mine are red, not blue).

Installed the hoses today, will be doing the downpipe next week. Then, I get a Vishnu center section pipe with a high-flow cat, and I send my ECU off to Vishnu for a reflash for something around 320 horses to the flywheel. Mmmmmmmmmm yeah.

While helping the guy remove the downpipe, we got owned by one of the connections at the bottom that held the pipe to the center section. We had to remove the downpipe and center section as a unit, then go outside and work the bolt and studs with vicegrips, a pipe wrench and finally a dremel to separate those two pieces. I really wish we had a pic of the ownage we dispensed on the nut and stud. 6 dremel wheels and one busted screwdriver later, the two came apart.
