I always wondered why there would be 2-3 EMPs per match, Support Killstreaks dont rest upon dying.
 
I decided to get the gold camo for the UMP. I'm almost all the way to the 85k something weapon xp to hit level 31 for the weapon to unlock the gold.

The gun kind of sucks once you've unlocked higher level assault rifles, so i've been trying to haim scope with rapid fire.
i didn't like that sight at first, but being able to chose between 3x zoom, and a reflex/reddot is pretty handy. the 3x zoom with a sub machine gun with rapid fire makes for some very draw out pissing in the wind type shooting challenges. i can see them, and get them on target, but the bullets just have trouble connecting from across the map.

does anyone know if you can use 2 prestige tokens? or once you prestige your freebie one will be gone?
i'm up to level 56 or so, and i was hoping to use 2 tokens at once on my first prestige.

and if you unlock a gun, does it stay unlocked for every prestige there after? or you have to unlock it each time?

You can use as many tokens as you want. I started out with three of them from prestiging in Black Ops, MW2, and MW1. And yeah, if you choose the unlock thing, whatever you unlock will be available right off the bat for the rest of the game. Unfortunately your progress on the challenges gets reset every time though. It's basically just makes whatever you choose like the stuff that's available to you when you first unlock create-a-class.

I feel like it's easier to prestige in this game than it was in MW2. MW2's higher rank levels seemed to take FOREVER to finish. With this though, even rank 70-80 doesn't take that long. I'm already level 26, 2nd prestige...
 
For some reason I'm not liking the gold camos in this game. Some of them look alright - the AK-47 for example. I like it because the mounting rails are still black, so there's a bit of a contrast. The guns that are all gold though tend to be kind of fugly (IMO anyway). I really like some of the other camos though, like the digital urban, the snake, the red and blue ones, and one other that I can't recall at the moment.

Side note, do you have to do something special to get your founder emblem, call-sign, and camo? I see people using them, but they're not in my list of call-signs and emblems. I thought all you had to do was sign up for Elite before November 13th?
 
I think you had to be one f the first million registered users to get founder status, and perhaps have the hardened version?

  • Play MW3 multiplayer. You will automatically become a Founder.

Please allow up to 48 hours for your Founders status to appear in MW3 and ELITE. Founder status will be indicated by a green skull next to your name on your Career page on ELITE.

If you have a MW3 Hardened Edition you can use the code included on the Founder card to add Founder benefits to your Premium account on the site after 11/30/11

Yeah, I've got that green skull on Elite, so I'm pretty sure I have founder status. I don't know what's going on...
 
Yep, for recked, totally forgot about em with all the holiday shit going on.

I'll get em sent soon (probably tonight) though.
 
Why is it everytime I use the single shot assault rifle, the game I get into is laggy as fuck? Seriously, no smooth games when I use that, only when I use any fully automatic.
 
I'm still kind of pissed that xbox makes you pay for their live service, and then they don't even host the games, its hosted by one of the players.
wtf is that shit about?

and i've noticed lag issues also, but i'm sort of used to lag at my house.
sunday i actually woke up early(earlier) to play before the ole lady got on her laptop

it didnt dawn on me until they showed the behind the scenes stuff, HOW much work it takes to do that shit.

that was awesome.
