you know something BDN, the plain looking style was more appealing to me. it would make someone think it was a an old cheapo deck. the only thing is mine didn't come with a remote but the manual says it's compatable with any of the other Xplode remotes. my friend has an extra one since he sold his but forgot to give the guy a remote +1 for me, yay!!!
and every single feature is exactly what I wanted
BTW-for some reason I can't click on the link to see what deck you got
James, what kinda Lap Top did you get?
Do you have a block up popper on? Might be why you can't see the link to his deck.
Anyway, I got basically the bottom end Laptop. It is a Dell... just like my desktop. (which I haven't seemed to have a whole lot of major problems with)

This isn't in any comparison to my desktop; 2.66ghz, 200gb harddrive, 1gig of ram, 17inch monitor, etc. But it'll suit my needs quite well for what I wanna use it for. I'd like to be able to rip out that 56k modem and sell it then start to personalize it without paying the finance charges on upgrades.
$627 bucks after the instant 150 rebate, plus they're sending me another 100 dollar rebate with the laptop.
