Whoa, how did I forget about this thread? lol
Well i've been improving my game significantly and have raked in about $500 the last 3-4 weeks. Mostly playing 100NL ($.50/$1 blinds), and have cashed in some $20 tourneys...

I have Ac9c in the BB, Mid position raises to $4, the button calls and I call.
Flop is KcQc7c, I flop the nut flush!! I check, MP raises to $10, the button pushes all in $53, I call, MP raises all in $41 to $94 total and I call. I figure MP has a big pocket pair(KK or QQ) and hit his set. So he's got a couple of outs.
The turn is Jc and the river is Qd. The button mucks and MP turns over KK!!! He rivered the Full House and took down a huge pot...
Needless to say I was pissed as all hell since I lost with nut flush![]()
i hated pokerstars for that reason. went to partpoker which wass a little better. but now i play on diamond star and its mostly people who know how to play. of course, you need to know how to play to win also.Quoted post[/post]]

I hate poker stars, although I've played both there and on partypoker. I lost $50 on partypoker to .50/1.00 bets - I hate the betting scheme and should have only played no limit tourny style because thats what I'm good at and familiar with.
I play a local game every Thursday night.
It's kinda easy to spot the fishies on PokerStars, if you learn the n00bs' betting styles, it's pretty easy to take their money from them.
But, on the flipside, they also make some stupid calls and raises and then get lucky on the river on a hand they should have never been in on the first place. It's frustrating at times, but that's poka.
