i just got a 1990 teg RS and was ondering first of all what the code was i couldnt find it on the block B18??

what are EASY, CHEAP swaps

ne help would be great

If you have the slightest desire to boost, just build the LS block for it. If you know that you do not want to boost, don't swap, LSVTEC.

it has 141K
if i wanted to boost i would either have to remanufacter
or get it cracked and pressure tested (ass expensive)

i was thinking B20 all motor, polished, pistons, rods 12.5:1

The B20's just going to choke with the stock head on it NA... if you're going to go all motor with a B20, drop a VTEC head on it.

If you want to LSVTEC with the kind of mileage you would have to remanufacture anyway. The LSVTEC (IMO) is going to be your most cost effective way NA in that car because you already have the LS bottom end.

Yep... if you already have the LS block, you can have Golden Eagle Mfg resleeve it and bore it to 84mm (2.0l, just like the B20) for about the same as the cost of a B20 block.

Email Vince and he can tell you all about it. Once you get your block back, you'll be able to boost the crap out of it with no worries.
