sales or mechanic? yeah definitely nice cars and the Fm transmitter thing is working out ok...not the best but good enough....still unreal about not having an AUX port., how did they miss this one. i can buy a kia and it will have an Aux port lol
The $60 head unit in my Teg has one, haha. The USB is actually an upgrade from what they use to have. It was an Infiniti only type jack that needed a special cable. So Infiniti would get you for an extra ~$30 on top of everything. Not only that, it would only hook up to an iPhone/iPod. I'm sure people complained about that, and they replaced it with this. When they complain about this, they'll probably move to an AUX jack.

Niether sales nor mechanic. My official title is a Product Specialist. Basically I'm customer service with the addition of knowing how to operate every single feature of the car. When someone buys a car, I show them every feature. The new JX takes about an hour before they even start asking questions. The rest of my day is answering questions or working with customers who show up with issues. Basically correcting user error all day. Fun though. Better pay then waiting tables and I get to drive Infinitis all day. If they gave me one to take home, I'd be a pig in shit.

not really sure why? care to elaborate?....wouldn't mind a face to face explanation but an over the internet one will do

Why, so you can take a swing? Maybe give that Kimber you're always talking about a nice workout?

How about this for an explanation: you are instantly combative toward everyone who disagrees with you, usually for no legitimate reason.

Toyota offers shitty AUX jacks that constantly break in their cars...

 He's always been pleasant in person, to me anyways.

isn't calling someone an asshole over the internet when you have never had any interaction with them at all make you an even bigger asshole? just saying...

it only seems combative cause it's the internet...my tone in person wouldn't represent what you presume is combative, hence in person conversation/explantion is preferable. You nor this conversation comes remotely close to ever feeling the need for violence, it's sad you feel that way, probably something you would engage in though.

haven't you ever read an email from someone that you thought might have been rude or whatever and talk to them later on in person and figured out you took something the wrong way?

who knows maybe they will give you a loaner. That JX is insanely nice, someone guy traded in his MDX for one the day i bought my car. The guy was showing him when someone walked behind the car as it was backing up, it would automatically brake via the rear mounted sensors. That's a very nice family vehicle.

I only got an estimated 23MPG through the first tank of gas, not bad...i think it needs to be broken in before the gas mileage gets better.

That's why I said you SEEM like a colossal asshole. I generally don't make summary judgment of an individual based on a few posts on a forum.

If I had even the slightest thought that I may ever resort to physical violence to solve a problem, I would not have purchased a handgun nor registered for a CPP. Your word choice combined with your combative phrasing and posting history gave me that impression.

Usually when I am left with the 'wrong' impression about a person or event it is due to poor word choice or bad phrasing by the person writing the original text.

There is argument for the idea that 'everyone acts a bit differently online' but honestly I don't buy it. Generally a person's attitude and phrasing online is simply more directly representative of their true personality rather than the friendly mask they wear in real life.

That said, I do not mean to offend. I simply noted the observation that your online personality can come across as a colossal asshole some of the time.

I apologize if a bit of honesty offended your delicate sensibilities. :)

i'm confused on what your definition of a "a bit of honesty" is in terms of using the phrase "a colossal asshole".

A "BIT" of honesty would have been like "Hey corvetteguy, you seem sort of defensive in your responses"...that would be considered trying to be "a bit honest"..calling someone a colossal asshole breaks all realms of sensitivity and i'm sure said to alot of people in person, would not end very well in your favor in the wrong situation.

that being said..i really don't care to discuss this further....you have the right to judge in this world, even if you base it on little known facts

Apparently It's a PITA to insure cars for employees nowadays. The only people at this dealership that drive demos are the owners and the GM. And the salesmen keep selling the JXs out from under the GM. It's pretty hilarious how many times he walks in and one of the guys goes, "I sold your car Dave".

OT:
I just assumed that anyone that had anything to do with a corvette was a colossal asshole. I however am a colossal asshole without the corvette. Go figure. :)
