you can tune without a dyno.
what you need is a wideband o2 sensor. plug that in and get a reading.. drive around with a passenger who knows whats up with tuning and you can set your air/fuel better.

as for Vtec at 3000- you are probably better off moving it UP

VTEC at 6000rpm is FUN- breaks the tires loose when the VTEC lobe takes over.

No way, my VTECH kickz azz at 2500 rpms, y0! ViTeK in 1st gear can't be beat! :lol:
 
So 600-1200 for a wideband o2,might as well just buy something a little more self contained.
 
That's a little more than I was thinking of spending.I'll just hit up the classifieds and see if I can get a VAFC fairly priced and if it don't work out sell it to someone else.
