i swaped an obd2 b18b into my 88 crx dx and the best quarter mile time i can muster on the gtec is a pathetic 15.9 at 90.1 mph. my car has a test pipe, tanabe 2 1/4in catback exhaust, and aem cai. full interior, no ac/heater crap under the dash. is this a normal time? is my gtec inacurate? does the trap speed indicate a bad launch? anyone else have times for a similar setup?
thanks

90mph should be high 14's. but gtec is crap, take it to the track if u want a real time. also, when u go to the track, check your 60', if u cant get 2.2's then u need to work on it. a b18b should be able to get high 14's stock. also gut ur car.

the only way a b18b will run a high 14 is to tare down the internals and throw Pr3 pistons on your stock LS rods, header,Fuel rail, and skinnier head gasket so until then low 15s are good for that motor

i got a 14.00 flat with b18a1 gutted no ac or heater header ram air intake wires and underdrive pulley. but i also had a b16 tranny. 1.7 in the 60
